Our Lady of Grace’s Heritage Festival begins Friday, Jan. 30 and runs through Sunday, Feb. 1. Our council will be manning the All American Booth serving hot dogs, hamburgers, french fries and more. All council members are encouraged to volunteer time during the weekend to help out in out booth. The Heritage Festival Mass is at 10:30 AM followed by the parade of flags. At 12:30 PM the doors open to the Taste of Grace. This is a great way to taste traditional foods from the homelands of our parishioners as they share some of their heritage.
Brother Knights, Our social meeting this month is this coming Friday, Jan. 23rd at 7:30 PM in the Quad Room of the Servite Center. The speaker will be Deputy Joseph Burns of the Brevard County Sherrif’s Office. He will present a program called Project Lifesaver. Project Lifesaver is directed to victims of Autism and Alzheimer’s Diseases. Our Tootsie Roll drives raise monies for the intellectually handicapped so this presentation fits in with one of our charitable goals.
Brothers, the majority of us are unable to join the pilgrimage to Washington to demonstrate against Roe vs Wade decision by the Supreme Court. So please sign up to join brother Knights and the Catholic Bishops of the United States in this exemplary cause. See below.
